vizier Vizier stands before the gates of Corpse Carnival, the dome hanging over the city a constant reminder of the nature of the events that lay within. Vizier feels dangerous at the best of times, but standing beside his domain like this makes him feel like all but a God.
Well, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration. But he does feel bloody good, at the very least.
"So, you say you're here on some sort of... reconnaissance mission?" he asks the spirit before him. Gromlin or something. Vizier wasn't really listening when he gave his name. "Whatever it was, the Countess was very interested in striking up a bargain with you. A deal of some kind, shall we say?"

Millennia trapped in stone and desolate cold  Gremlin had only taken his eyes off the lion when he- the bear, that is- first stepped up to the gate. Now, he stared with disdain at the demon. He didn’t like having to talk to Vizier instead of The Countess herself, since she was a spirit, but he’d have to make do. “Yes,” he growled. Gremlin thought a moment before slowly continuing, “I’m looking for an old enemy of mine. So, what kinds of deals do your sort strike up for information, eh?” Vizier wasn’t the only one not that great at talking, though the difference was that Gremlin wasn’t good at deals, either. vizier Grublin? Gemling? Jeez, it was right on the edge of his tongue - it started with G, he was sure. Wait. What if it was a J that just sounded like a G? Vizier hated names, wished he could just straight up ban them honestly, they're just the worst-
The bear was talking, Vizier realised with a start. The bear was talking, and he hadn't been listening, and Vizier really wasn't built for this kind of thing at all. The things he did for the Countess. "Yes, information," he said, totally covering up for his non-listening. Nice one. "We strike up all kinds of deals. Mostly the kind involving you, your claws and a big ol' pit full of paying customers." Heck yes, that sounded so cool, he is actually the best.
Vizier allows a smile to slip through his carefully composed features. The Countess would be so proud with how he recovered from that. Heck yes.

He didn't want to do that, but would he cooperate? Of course. Finding Tines' squad was Top priority. "Alright, I'll bite, Demon," he started, "What Exactly do you have in mind?” Gremlin curled his lips and bared his teeth to show that he was ready for anything that they might prepare for him.
